Self-healing: Nerfed on arrival from near-instant to delayed by a few minutes. Think 5-10.

[Vash is bouncing on his heels when Livio shows up. Possibly even humming to himself. It's ridiculous.]

All of this is extremely suspicious. No one is this happy to see Livio. The Humanoid Typhoon is not this happy. It's downright comical. Like he walked right out of some evening sitcom, immediately following...

[Vash is completely oblivious as he scoops up a very hefty portion of pasta for Livio. He looks at the bowl, over at Livio, and then back once more, still not quite noticing. Eventually he pulls down a second dish and fills that too.

It's only once he turns on his heel and actually faces Livio that he realizes... something is wrong. He jumps in the air, damn near throwing the pasta in the process.]

Whoa, whoa, whoa! What's wrong? Is there something on my face?

[... Maybe now is a good time to work on old breathing exercises. Deep inhales, slow exhales. This is fine.]

Thank... you. [Oops. That came out very harsh, in a monotone, almost robotic sort of way. Livio will just... take one of the bowls stiffly and turn to trudge off and sit down... somewhere.]

[Well.... That won't do! Vash waddles after him, once more stumbling over his feet and once more almost losing the other bowl.]

[Livio is the one in front of him.]

Nick's real important to me. And you're important to him. So...

[Livio doesn't know if he agrees with the first sentiment, but... on the subject of Nick, they can sure get along. He pauses to stare down at his half empty bowl, not ever looking up directly at Vash.]

He's all that matters to me. [There isn't a threat laced in there, even after everything. If anything, Livio sounds exhausted, almost desperate.] Please be kind to him.

I think I get it...

[There's a slightly more sobered note in Vash's voice. He doesn't fully understand Livio, and certainly not this Livio. He's wondered what the other Vash might have been like. Sometimes the thought even scares him. But it doesn't matter, when they're both here now.

Livio's a friend. That's all there is to it.]

I promise, I'll be as good as I can to him, from here on out. It's a promise, yeah?

[Finally, Livio meets Vash's eyes, if the Plant even allows it. Liv was truthful in saying he didn't feel personally slighted, so as long as Nicholas is happy, and happy with Vash... That's good enough for him.]

I will hold you to that promise, Vash the Stampede.

[Vash does indeed hold his gaze! And when that isn't enough, he holds out his pinky.]

[Here, he hesitates, but it isn't out of misgiving. No, it gives him pause because it reminds him of a better time. When he and Nick were both happy. Even if it was short, and a long time ago.

Livio chuckles, low, once, in disbelief, before joining with Vash's pinkie.]

[Of course there's a triumphant holler on his part! He gives the pinkie a squeeze before letting go
